As planned, the missions coordinator of GHAFES, Mr. James Amoah-Mensah’s first quarter pastoral visit to the mission fields from March 1 – 7, 2018 came off and has ended successfully. He visited our graduate-missionaries taking part in this year’s Short-Term Involvement in Community Service (STICS) program as their national service. Currently we have 23 graduates who are serving in 13 deprived rural communities.
The schedule of his visit included Banda, Borai, Chinderi and Bomoden all in the Volta region. He also visited Welensi, Bimbila, Chereponi, Yendi, Gbintri, Walewale, Yagaba, Kparigu, Nabulugu, Zua, Loagri, Yong and Diari in the Northern region. Lastly, he also visited Fumbisi and Sandema in the Upper East region.
As part of the visit, the ministry gave out some provisions and other basic needs to the graduate-missionaries serving in these communities.
This pastoral visit has been made possible because of your continuous support to the ministry. We want to take this opportunity to register our profound appreciation to all students and associates who have been supporting the ministry to accomplish the great commission.
We thank God for the journey mercies and faithfulness throughout this visit.
