students and 5 staff went on “Students-in-Church Evangelism” (SICE) to 24
village communities in Nkwanta and Krachi East Districts of the Upper Volta
Region and the Aowin District in the Western Region.They were later joined by 36 member medical
team from Okomfo Anokye and Korle-Bu Medical Schools who took care of the
health needs in 6 of the communities.Over 1300 souls came to faith, miracles happened and many were inspired.The excitement over SICE has been great and
many are already looking forward to the next SICE in 2010.

1. Wisdom, a well-known fetish priest, often consulted in the village, received Jesus Christ.-Dambai
2. Two backslidden Chuch leaders restored back to their faith in Christ. -Odomi-Nkwanta
3. Two men surrendered their cigarettes after hearing the Word of God.-Krotang-Nkwnata
4. A woman who had lost contact with her son for ten years, and did not know his whereabout, was reconnected to him through a phone call by one of the students.The student happened to know the son.-Ashiabre-Nkwanta
5. A man who could not walk due to a spinal cord problem was healed three days after the team prayed for him.– Keri-Nkwanta
6. An old lady after receiving Christ exclaimed "I'm now married to Christ". Another woman who had hearing problems received her healing after the team prayed for her. -Chaiso-Nkwanta
7. A Church leader testified that he had been healed of an eye problem after the team had prayed for him. The youth were revived and became active in Church. – Yakase
8. God used the team to revive a Church that was non-operational for six months. They were able to raise 11membersto resume fellowship.As they ministered in the schools, some visited them at home to confess
their sordid way of lives with remorse and genuine repentance in tears.A lot of the town folks and Church goers were revived at their daily evening meetings to the glory of God.– Dadieso
9. A lot of school drop-outs and truants returned to school in earnest after the team members counseled them. A new convert immediately won two more souls for Jesus. -Kramokrom/mile 4
10. Some team members had personal testimonies of how they were able to preach in public for the first time. Some were used of the Lord to deliver many from demonic afflictions for the first time. Others saw their prayer lives soar beyond their wildest imaginations. - Nyambong
